Heya Mik,
I have several that I'd be willing to share, but you can get much more than what I can get you by doing a google on "Free MP3 Ringtones". I came across four or five sites with literally hundreds of tones on them...you should get about everything you want. If not, let me know and I'll email you a few of the ones I found by googling.

Good Luck,
-Scott

Thanks Handcuff,

But even better I think I have figured out how to make my own......

Try this one, laugh from Fell Good.

Mike

BTW, do you know of a program that will automatically cycle through ringtones for the next incoming call ?

I make my own ringers too...some are .wma ringers and a few are wavs for incoming email, etc. They're all pretty small as I just take the portion I want out, then convert them to mono files. I also make them fade out at the end...I like the effect. Here's a list of what I've made so far:
  • 1, 2, 3, 4, I love the Marine Corp!
  • Semper Fidelis
  • The Marine Corp Hymn
  • Brick House (for my wife!)
  • Hail to the Chief
  • "Where is your honor dirtbag...you are an absolute disgrace!"
  • Dontcha (wish your girlfriend was hot like me)
  • Dude (looks like a lady) - a funny one for a friend of mine...he doesn't seem to like it!
  • Gangsta (Keepin' it Gangsta) - gangsta rap rings always sound funny on a southern white boy's phone.
  • Let's Get it On
  • Ice, Ice, Baby
  • Mamajama (She's a bad mamajama)
  • Papa (I love it when you call me big papa, Notorious B.I.G.) my default ringer
  • Psycho (for my ex-wife)
  • Wild Thing (by Tone Loc)

I have a few .wav files I use for alerts:
  • Lucky (Napoleon Dynamite)
  • Mail (I got mail yea...I got mail yea! - Crank Yankers)
  • Master (Master...I have mail for you)

You can download them here

If anybody has any other good ideas for ringers, let me know. I'm always looking for some other good ones to make.

Are you the Dangeruss from the Stardock forums and other skinning sites? I'm guessing you are, and it's great to have you onboard here.

I don't have anything specific to suggest as a ringer right now, but if I get any inspirations I'll post them here.

Maybe you should start a "Ringers by Request" service.

Unfortunately you have to wade through a bazillion crappy ring tones making the process very frustrating. I was going to post a similar thread to this -- I'm still using the crappy default ring tones.

Hey guys its too easy! Download the program Audicity, it was posted on here earlier and just get mp3s and cut it out and put it in your phone. Make your own, its a lot better and more personalized.

I have about 100mb of MIDI ringtones I downloaded off of usenet. I would gladly upload them to somebody if they want to host them. I personally dont like words to the songs on my ringtones. Let me know if someone wants to host some or all of these tones.

BTW it is about 5,000 different ones. I dont know if they are all good. Only listened to about 100 of them.
