Error Code : 67 >> cannot connect to #777 (solution inside!!)

Sorry if it's a repost but didn't see it posted anywhere. I was on the phone for 3 hours today and after being transfered 5 times, here is how the "advanced" technical support resolved that issue in 2' !!

Go to setting >> Phone >> click on the "Service" tab at the bottom >> select "internet" from the menu >> click "get settings" then Start and you'll see an IOTA icon flashing in the top nav, wait until it's done and voila!

hey buddy,
I followed your directions, but when I click on start, i get no responce above the start icon it says " client initiated Iota". But you seem to have the answer to my problem. I havent been able to connect to the internet for weeks. And the sprint techs have no answer for me? Everytime I try to get on the internet a prompt screen comes up and says "the adress is not valid, check the adress and try again". If you have any other ways to fix this please feel free to tell me. I dont want to have to reset my entire phone!

Hey MPNUPE3,

Do you know if E.W. Diggs uses a PPC 6700?

There's a really long thread on this. Sometimes the fixes work, sometimes they don't. Mine wasn't fixed by IOTA request, it needed a hard reset. Others report a hard reset worked once or twice, then even that wouldn't work.

This worked great for me. I had been on hold with technical support for 25 minutes when I ran across this link. Thanks for saving me the headache and earache of waiting much longer.

This may also be fixed by the new Rom that was just released. Not sure I never got this error. well ive never got any errors while using #777. Never while I was on my phone nor while I was tethered.

The new ROM does seem to have fixed the issue. I would usually see this once or twice a day and haven't seen it since upgrading the ROM.

The new ROM does not address the error code 37. I have seen it since many times.
