Save number to existing contact?

Hey all,

I have not found an answer to this as of yet, was wondering if anyone could help me out...If I go to my Call History and have a phone number that I want to save to a contact already in my adress book, how do I do that? I know that clicking and holding for the context menu, then clicking "Save to Contacts" creates a new contact entry to save that number. I would like something where I can choose to save it to an existing contact also. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

- D

I know of a way, but its indirectly.

Highlight the number on your recent list and then bring up the phone app. Dial their number like you would be calling it. Tap and hold the stylus on the number while it is still in the phone and and click copy. Then hop over to contacts and scroll to find the contact and then edit their info. I have done this a few times when friends get new cell numbers and whatnot. Its kind of out of the way, but nice to know that you can copy/paste into the phone app from a note or even a text message (done this many times when phone numbers come in with extentions and no spaces).
