I personally use Adobe Audition for ALL my sound editing. If you want to make wav files for notifications, you have to save them as Windows PCM wav files. These are the ones to use. Just save them in a wav folder and copy them to your device's windows folder. Here are a couple of ones I have.

I just got a warranty replacement on my phone and moved the same ringtones over from my old device. All of a sudden, nothing shows up in the dropdown menus..

Are there any other places besides /Windows/Rings that will take .mp3 ringtones?

Heres the really weird thing for me. I dont have a /windows folder.
I looked and looked and I cant find it. I see everything else but no windows folder. When i tried to make one it would not allow me to. Whats wrong?

are you looking at it thru your computer (xp or vista)? Chances are your folder options are set to hide system files. Just hit up Control Panel>Folder Options>View Tab>"Hide Protected Operating System Files (Recommended)"

If that is checked, it will hide things like your Windows folder...both on the PPC and on your computer..

I use my ringtones like everybody else and put them under ringtones and in the window file for text and emails. I got ringo pro thinking it would just be easier to manage. Now under incoming calls under settings it dosent it let me set it to defaul like text msg emails, and missed calls. The problem is that ringo pro dosent seem to override that ringer. Am i missing something? When i had a treo with ringo it overrode everthing. Im using wm6 on a touch.. Any help would be appreciated.
