Can't Send/Receive from Outlook (grayed out)

I'm having several issues with Outlook on the PPC-6700. The first one is that when I go to the options menu "send/receive" is grayed out so I can't use it. The weird thing is that it worked great in the past. I have no idea what could have changed. Another problem (probably related) is that I can't access "Manage Folders" in the same menu because it's also grayed out. Both of these features worked before.

The next problem is that every time I hook up my phone to my office computer it it changes my settings for connections. My office computer is hooked up to a proxy server so it automatically changes the phone to try to get the mail through a proxy server. I don't want to connect thought the proxy server, however (it doesn't work when I try) so I have to manually uncheck the "connect to proxy server" option. It gets annoying to always have to uncheck that box when I connect. Any ideas on how to resolve that? I'm not great with the connections manager. Under advanced options I have "Sprint" selected for programs that connect to the internet and for programs that connect to a private network which I assumed would fix the problem but didn't.

Last problem related to Outlook. I want to save attachments to a storage card but when I select that option is automatically saves them to the extended_rom (I unlocked it) which is darn close to full. Any ideas on this?

Sorry to get long winded. None of these issues are that major but I'm very much interested in trying to get them fixed.

Yea. I am also experiencing problems with my active sync and outlook. Everytime I try and sync my contacts from my phone to my computer. It doesnt seem to work? It gives me the check mark when i complete my sync. But when i check microsoft outlook, my contacts arent there? Has anyone experienced this, or have an idea how to fix it?

The default outlook account cannot be configured to send and receive, it is only used for syncing. Did you configure a new account to send/receive?

You can set up your PC activesync to allow or not allow pass through connections. This link may help.

PM me if you absolutely can't get it working and I will help.
