You might want to state how much your cash reward offer totals. A $5 reward is a lot different than a $100 reward.

So, how much is it worth to ya?

Do you have it activated on your PPC6700 luv2chill?

No, not at all. I use Voice Command pretty-much exclusively so smartdialer wouldn't see much use on my 6700 (I had it installed on my 6600 but never used it).

I am just trying to help you out by encouraging you to tell people just how motivated you are to have someone hack it for you. It would be like me telling the neighbor boy I'll pay him to mow my lawn and then after he finished doing it hand him a quarter. It's only fair to everyone to know what the terms are ahead of time.

Good luck!

From what I gather it auto completes numbers based on ones that are on your contacts. So if you type 26, and there is only one number that matches that it auto completes it for you..... Never seen, just what I have heard..

Well, I now have Smart Dialer working on my 6700....so is that 3 figure number $999USD or something less?

Smart Dialing work using the keypad as T9 like app. If you hit the 6 key it shows all your contacts beginning with m, n, o. If you then hit the 2 key is narrows the list down to those beginning with mno, abc. So if a contacts last name was Mayfield, it would show up....and so on....

Good luck on getting the three figures. Now, in interest of community sharing how about sharing your findings with the other 1000 people that want this that didn't offer to pay?

I have no intention of taking his money. I was curious to see if he was good to his word.

The Smart Dialer application is an HTC app that they include in many of their devices. The .cab for it is available from the FTP site at xda-developers. I have also attached it to this post.

Simply unzip the folder on your desktop and transfer the .cab to your device and run it. Once it is installed it will show up in the phone menu.

Good luck
Dave

Did you go to the menu in the phone app and enable it? Once you have done this just hit a key or two on the phone pad and it will come up.

Good luck
