software program to fax directly from the 6700??

No one has a software program to fax directly from the 6700?

The 6700 is not capable of operating as an analog modem, so traditional "dialup" fax programs won't work on it. To fax from the 6700 you'll need to look into services like efax that let you send faxes via e-mail.

I doubt there's anything like that. They still use analog 900mhz phones (the old 3 watt "car phones") to send faxes without landlines. You could probably find a pay service to send faxes through a web interface though.

At a quick glance I see that it supports GSM, but there's no mention of CDMA.

Don't count on this, it says GSM, not CDMA.

You're still stuck with a service like efax, which works quite well.

use Fax1.com email to fax service.. I use it on my PC and works great .. now setup your outlook email and send the emais from your PPC...
