Windows 2000 WModem fix (DUN stops working after a few seconds/minutes)
There have been several people that have asked about this in the other thread, but has anyone found a fix or have any insight about this problem? For those that dont know what Im talkin about, when using wmodem thru either Bluetooth or USB on the Win2k system, it stops responding after about the first web page that is loaded.
Any answers or fixes?

Thank you insurance :D
Still no luck here. But I'm starting to believe it's not a Win2K exclusive problem, I had the same problem happen on my friend's laptop with XP. Maybe it's a laptop thing?
nope - both my pc and laptop were on win2k pro and i experienced that problem EVERY time - i have since upgraded to XP and now it works perfectly on both my PC and my laptop...
it's a win2k problem and i doubt many people are gonna devote effort to fixing it.

I got my USB DUN to work, but it's spotty at best. After about 10 tries with the dialing and a soft reset each time, it'll connect and I can surf for about 2 minutes before the connection freezes. When I go look into details, the 6700 is still sending data, but no longer receiving. Any suggestions? I'm running Win 2k instead of XP (don't know if that matters though).
EDIT: Forgot to add that each time it does connect, it's at 230.4kbps...doesn't matter if I'm in a 1 bar or 4 bar EVDO area.
I had that problem on my XP computer with the samsung i730, I formatted and it went away.....can someone who is having this problem format their computer (I know, it sucks) and try it again.....I don't think its limited to 2k necessarily....
