anyway to auto connect to data network when starting a stream with TCPMP??
Any way to get the auto-dialer to call #777 to auto-connect when opening a stream through a program like TCPMP?

It does it automatically for PIE, but I'm wondering if there's an easy way to get other programs to auto-dial like that, or if there's a link I can put in the start menu?

Do you mean it always stays connected to EVDO?

That would kill my battery life in a few hours.

my battery lasts all day without any problems... i text e mail and play games all day with it and im always connected...

Have you tried the reg tweak yourself? I have this tweak on and my device lasted me pretty much the whole day. I don't think it actually does anything unless you have traffic going in and out. There was one day that I left the phone in my car for the whole day and the battery was only down to 80% (with RSS feeds, emails, weather updating every 30 mins).
