Sprint Vision Plans,WM5 app compatibility, miniSD deals, Activesync 3.8 compatibility

Hi Guys,

First off I tried the search function, but it doesnt seem to be working with the new database.

I finally broke down and have ordered a 6700, my questions are as follows,

1, What do I need as far as a new Vision Plan, I presently have a 5.00 Vision Professional Pack on the 6600 I also use PCS business connection at zero cost

We have 4 phones on the account and this phone will replace the 6600

2, Will my other add on app's work, VC 1.5, Resco File manager , PIE PLUS, SPRITE Backup

3, Who has the best deals on the mini SD cards

4, Will I just be able to hook up the phone to my PC and get Active Sync to recognize the phone and transfer all my contacts and notes over? I believe Im using AS 3.8

Anything else I should know, will I need extta batterys. Give me all the 411.

Still looking through this forum like crazy

1. Power Vision if you have access use EVDO, otherwise I'm guessing your current plan should work.

2. Most, if not all, 2003 apps work in WM5.

3. Depends on the day. I've seen 1g cards change $15 inside a week. You're just going to have to shop around.

4. No idea. Try it and let us know.

1. Should work (just do an ESN swap, don't change plans) but if it doesn't, you will need to sign up for a $15 Power Vision plan

2. Varies from app to app. Your best bet is to check on the developer's website for WM5 compatibility and/or if there is a new WM5 version available before installing.

3. Try ebay

4. You need at least 4.0 (which comes on the cd). However, better to unistall 3.8 first, reboot, then download and install 4.1 from microsoft.com.
