how to remove program that doesn't respond to WM5 remove program utility??

how do you remove software that doesn't respond to the remove program built into the 6700 or activesync?

Try uninstalling it via Activesync on your desktop to see if that works...if not, you can also try a 3rd party app like Memmaid or SKTools. I use SKTools to uninstall apps as it does a better job than the builtin one..

you could also remove it manually through the file explorer by just deleting the folder in program files, sometimes in windows\app mgr, also the short cut on the start menu and to remove it from the remove programs list you need to go into the registry, it's under appinstall I believe. As well and in general just do a search in the registry and on the phone with any keywords pertaining to the software you installed and delete them. Make sure you 100% know what they are though

like i mentioned activesync doesn't always work either. i've heard that memmaid isn't all that compatable with our devices but i have no real knowledge. i'll definitely look into sktools though. thanks for the tips.
