how do I use bluetooth to transfer pictures from Moto E815 to 6700??
hi everyone, I bought an XV6700 a few days ago and it just came in. WOW has this been an awesome phone so far or what?? I don't think people realize that spending the extra buck is worth it these days...
Back on topic.. I just sold a motorola E815, it's already been deactivated. It has blue tooth, and It does connect to my XV6700 ( I did a connection with it, it recognized it as Motorola Phone, and sent a PIN number. I entered the PIN for verification on the E815 and everything is dandy). Now the trick question for me is, how do I get all my pictures from there to the 6700? Is it possible?? I have a lot to lose, and the e815 needs to go out tomorrow. Help is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

As far as i understand, File Transfer through bluetooth is disabled with Verizon as well many other carriers. They call it OBEX (Object Exchange)
Your best bet is to buy a Transflash (MicroSD) card for your E815. Copy the pictures to it (I could do this easily with the V710, not sure if its been disabled with the E815-which is an upgraded V710 essentially).
Connect the memory card to a PC, transfer the files (You will need an SD card reader). Next, Delete the pics from Phone+memory card. Put it back in the box and return it
OBEX is in fact disabled on the E815 but can be re-enabled with a data cable and some software. However, even enabling OBEX may not fix the problem. Neither phone supports OPP (object push protocol) so you wouldn't be able to send files from device to device. He'll have to go the memory card route, basically. That is, unless you want to upload them all to pixplace and re-download them.
I do have a data cable, and I did hack the phone using Mobile Phone Tools, Motorolla PST and some other program that let me change the codes on the phone. It worked great, until I did a *228 and updated the phones roaming capabilities, then it reset the coding. Since it took me about 2 hours to do it, and I'm an extremely lazy kid , I chose to delete all the pictures.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions. Now I'm looking to expand on the XV6700
