alarms persist even though I have deselected them, please help!

I just ran into the most annoying problem I have ever had with this phone, wose than the DSOD (to me at least). I set three alarms on the phone (using the built in alarm software) at 4:00 AM and at 4:15 and 4:30 AM to wake me up. Since then, I have had these same alarms going off at those times even though I have unchecked those alarms, changed the times to something different. I have tried changing the alarms and cant seem to find any registry settings that seem to control this. I have also tried a soft reset. I am pretty sure that a hard reset will solve the problem, but I really dont want to have to back up the software on here to do that.

Anybody have any solutions to this? It would really be great to get some sleep without having obsenely early alarms going off all the time.

Does anyone know where the registry settings or what the registry settings are for the alarms in WM5?

repeating alarms

Hard Reset is the only thing that will fix this. I had the same problem -- perhaps even worse. I tried reactivating the alarms and using a quieter ring tone and somehow, ended up with the old alarm sounds AND the new ones. Phone was also vibrating over and over. I was very close to throwing the phone out the window, but I ended up just ripping the battery out of it for days at a time before i finally bit the bullet and hard reset.

Good luck
