Network Time update for Verizon 6700

I searched, and found the reg hack for the sprint version so the phone's time updates with the CDMA network, but the key specified in that hack does not exist on my Verizon branded 6700.

Any ideas how to make this happen? Seems silly that a pocket computer doesn't have a feature found on every phone I have ever had on Verizon.

Thanks

All you can do is try adding the value to the registry. Let us know the result.

  Send a message via AIM to cryogenic

I totally agree that it's really strange that the xv6700 doesn't update time via the network. The only good thing is that at least it syncs time with your pc via activesync.

Anyone figure this out? This is really a dumb annoyance.

Go to this registry entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting

and change this key:
HiddenTimesyncPage = 0

Then under Settings -> Phone -> Services, select Time Synchronization and press "Get Settings".
