Sprint Vision service quits working, have to reset to restore connectivity

At any given interval between 30 minutes and 3 days, after my phone has been on, my Vision access quits working. When it attempts to connect to #777, it waits for 20 seconds before it dies and says that "No modem is available at the above number" Soft-resetting the phone resolves the issue.

Because I am using Exchange ActiveSync, this can be a real pain when someone sends me an email and I do not receive it.

Does anyone else out there have this problem or know of a fix? I have been to my local Sprint store for a PRL update and it seemed to work like a champ for a few days, but then it started over again.

Help!

its quite a common problem and I have not come across a permanent fix yet. I simply have gotten into the habit of soft resetting my phone when I head out in the morning and then again when I get back home in sort of a preventive practice against getting that error. something that may help is to enable the "always on hack". A quick search should locate it in no time.

it seems to happen to me when I'm in a fringe area and get a legitimate problem getting a connection. Once I get this error condition, I cannot get it to connect, even with a full signal. If I soft reset or turn flight mode on and off, it will reconnect.
