4-digit PIN password option gone!

not sure if one of these hacks did it, but now my passwords applet doesn't have the 4-digit PIN option anymore.

typing in a password w/ stylus or keyboard every time is very annoying, but i still need some protection...

anyone know what might have happened?

Ben, did you also do a hard reset?
Are you also using Sprint?
Which apps/hacks did you recently install?

No answers yet, but maybe we can pinpoint it...

Weird - I'm having issues as well. I hard to hard reset last night and for some reason I'm not able to access the menu option for "Password"

If you guys figure it out, please pass it on to me! I'll do the same.

you mean, when you go into settings, and try to bring up "passwords", nothing happens at all?

i don't know about you, ben, but i can still set a text password, just not a 4-digit pin password.

i wonder if this is a sprint issue, since doing a hard reset should restore the system to a fresh state....

Exactly. I show the option but when I click on it nothing happens. Very frustrating!

Did you guys happen to install another passowrd protected software like 1-pass or nicestart? I think that takes over the builtin one and maybe the uninstall didn't do a good job and left some regkeys that is causing this...
