AADP (sterreo Bluetooth) on XV6700
I was just about to buy a stereo bluetooth headset (Bluetake BT450Rx) and checked with Verizon tech support to see if it was compatible with the XV6700 - in other words, whether the 6700 supports A2DP. Apparently not, as far as I can tell from the canned (and not entirely responsive) response I got:
Quote:
Thank you for contacting our Verizon Wireless website. We are happy to assist you with your A2DP Profile question.
We apologize but we cannot speculate if or when an Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) will be offered for our Bluetooth handsets as any unconfirmed information would be subject to change and could raise expectations that may not be met. We will ensure that your request to add the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile for Bluetooth is sent to the correct department to allow us to make future improvements and enhancements to our handsets. We look forward to meeting your needs now and in the future.
