Anybody have a dump of the XV6700 dialer cabs from Extended ROM?
I am interested in seeing if the dialer changes can be loaded on a PPC-6700.
I tried installing the Smartdialing cab and files shown on this
thread at the XDA forum but that didn't work for me.
I am looking for any way to enhance the dialing to make things easier.

does the verizon version have the smartdialing option? I thought it was just the alltel version that has this..I would like to try this out also...

You can install any cab files as long as it's made for Pocket PC...as for it working, that's another thing..

It lets you dial names using the number pad. Basically, start dialing a name like Robert (starts with 762) and you can select the contact from there. Never tried it, but my friend has it on his smartphone.

Alright, I got into the EXT ROM but its not clear which CAB file you guys need....here is the config.txt of what is being loaded. Let me know which CAB you would like.

I may do a hard reset tomorrow during the day to see if I can pinpoint which CAB contains the software unless someone already knows which one is needed.
