Can you use 2 Bluetooth Headsets with 1 phone.

I always seem to forget my Bluetooth at home or work, so was wondering if I could have the same brand but 2 of them. And switch them out during the day.

Thanx

Yep, you sure can. I'm not sure what the limit is on number of paired devices, but it's high enough that most people can pair every bluetooth peripheral they have with no problems.

It doesn't matter that they're the same brand, either. Each has a unique MAC address so the 6700 can easily tell them apart.

Not sure if it's the same with headsets but I have a few bluetooth APs (all same brand) and they can all pair with my device..

Whoa, wait a minute. This isn't so simple. I've tried it with headsets, and right now I have a BT car kit and headset I switch between (the car kit is seen as just another headset).

SOME headsets will switch back and forth pretty easily, some will not. My favorite headset, the Bluetrek G2, doesn't switch from other devices automatically. I have to select it after using another BT device, and then it might also take a reset sometimes. The Plantronics also doesn't auto-switch, but at least it will select manually the first time I do it. The Motorola HS820 switches automatically, but is a crap headset in every other way. I need to go try a few others.
