Has anyone wittnessed their 6700 heating up?

I just noticed, while taking my phone out of my carkit that it was quite warm. Not shockingly warm but warn enough to take notice. This would happen with my Ipaq hx-4700 but I ascribed it to the extra horsepower.

I was on a call via bluetooth and also connected to my GPS using Mapopolis. The call ran for about 5 minutes but I had hung up about 5 minutes before removing it from the carkit.

I checked that the heat was not from any external source such as the defrost, etc., etc.

I have only had the phone since Christmas so I don't know if this is common.
Anyone else experience this?
Is it normal?
Should I be alarmed?

Sometimes phone heat up on car chargers because they dont trickle in the charge into the phones. They kind of poor it in. This does in some intances cause the phone to heat up. It might be causing your phone to heat up.

I've noticed that if I use mine for long periods at a time, then it gets pretty darn hot.
I used it for 3 or 4 hours the other night...was steraming a video from ORB with it. I had the device sitting on a blanket (so it wasnt getting much ventilation) and picked it up....man it was HOT. Sorta freaked me out...I dont leave it sitting like that anymore...ha...but it still gets warm if I use it for an hour or two.
