MP3 on PPC-6700

This is my second Pocket PC, but my first with an integrated phone (the first was an IPAQ). I love it. I am considering getting a storage card so I can add music. Is it worth it? If so, what is the biggets card I can get, and what size should I get? Also, any tips on adding music?

Also what is the difference between a XV 6700 and a PPC 6700?

The only diffence between the xv 6700 and ppc6700 is that xv is for verizon and ppc is for sprint. I don't know what the Alltel version is called. I have the sprint version and I love it. Sprint only charges $15 for there EVDO service and Verizon charges $40. I still havent figured out why.
The biggest card currently is 2 gigs and these phones use the miniSD for storage.

You can use any types of music you like for storing.

Welcome..noone can tell you what you should get...it depends if you need it or not...as for adding music, you can just drag and drop to your storage card...good luck!

What is EVDO. I didn't sign up for any new service because I was told with wi-fi, I could just get on the internet for browsing and e-mail, and wouldn't have any other charges.

you can, but if you are not near a wi-fi location then you won't be able to browse the internet w/o any additional fee. EVDO is sprints Hi-speed data service that you can access at most places where you get cell service.

Welcome to the forum, sounds like you will need to spend a couple of hours reading the accumulated knowledge found here.

If you went with Sprint service you might want to call customer care and check that they didn't automatically add a power vision package to your account. Several people on this forum have been surprised to find that the most expensive plan was added.

On the other hand if you don't have any data plan, you may find a huge bill resulting from being charged per kb when using EVDO.

Good luck
