Using a Bluetooth headset and output jack together

I hope I can explain this so it makes sense.

I like to listen to audible audio books and so I use the phones output jack along with an 4 conductor stereo adaptor I found a cingular and plug it into my car stereo. I listen to books during my commute.

The problem comes in when I get a phone call or want to make a call. I have a jabra v250 which works great on its own or if I unplug the stereo adaptor before I answer or make a call.

But when my stereo jack is plugged in and I try to make or answer a call it drops the call. It usually connects for a few seconds and then stops. I think the the handsfree program is getting confused somehow in thinking that the stereo plug is the headset and ends the call.

The simple solution is just to unplug the adaptor before I answer or make a call, but while driving that is always annoying. Especially when the call is over and I have to plug the adaptor back into the phone. But I was wondering if there were any type of hack or trick that would allow me to usae the headset with the adaptor together?

I have the cingular 3.5 to 2.5 as well and plug it into my aux in on my stereo. I haven't had any problems using my bluetooth headset when a call comes in if I hit the button on my headset. Basically, I think it disables the headset jack on the phone.
