does anyone elses screen feel "squishy"?

Anyone have a similar experience?

It feels like the screen flexes when I tap on it. This is most noticeable when you turn the screen off and look at the screen sideways. Then use your stylus and press on it. It looks almost like what happens when you throw a rock into water...

Both of mine that I have right now do this (one of them is being returned for not working), but the one I currently am using is worse off. I also have a screen protector on this one, but I dont think that is causing the problem.

Mine does that too...but I dont know if its because I have stretched it out, from removing a screen protector that I was using.

I don't know if this is necessarily a problem. Mine does this as well, and so did my previous 6700. Honestly, I'm glad that there is some give, as a tight fit would make it more prone to scratching from the stylus, correct?

no idea...thats why i'm asking. looks like everyone has the same issue, so maybe its meant to be like this. I have a screen protector on mine, and with it in, it seems to have alot more flex than the one I have w/o a screen protector.

It's suppose to be like that...it's to somewhat protect the glass behind that sheet of plastic...it's not stuck to the glass that's why there is a little play when you tap on it..

I have taken a few apart on older model phones and there are actually 3 layers and the first 2 i'm not sure if they are plastic or glass but top layer has conductor points the second has the x/y coordinates wired through it and the light, those 2 are right on top of each other. the third is the lcd which is actually about 1-2 mils back

not exactly sure if its the same since i've never taken apart a 6700 but I have worked on sx 56 and i-mate jam a bunch.
