Phone Plus

Hi guys, I had phoneplus installed and my trial ended. I had the green talk button mapped to startup the app. So after the trial ended, i hit the green button to use the phone and it's still mapped........but the app won't let me go in and change it because the trial has ended. So then i tried to uninstall it, that still didn't solve the issue. Then i deleted some files and it still didn't work. Is there anyway to change that mapping in the registry??? I also tried to reinstall phoneplus, no dice there either.

Send a message via AIM to Morphiend

this happened to me to. i was never able to figure out how to get rid of phoneplus. i would have bought it if it worked in landsacpe mode. anyways, i wound up having to hard reset to get rid of it. not a big deal to me since i dont have that much stuff on mine but hopefully you can come up with a solution. i emailed them about whether they're fixing the landscape issue and they never replied so good luck if you plan on writing them.

Try their support - just kidding.

These are the most unresponsive PPC s/w makers I have seen to date..

I would love to hear others' experiences here.

FINALLY GOT THE ANSWER FROM SUPPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's what you need to do. i did it and it is gone...

In order to uninstall PhonePlus after the period of trial, you should do the
followings:

1. Track down the ppcap file in /windows/startup and delete it 2. Reset the device and try uninstalling again.
