can any help me out i am trying to listen to online hidi music available at all such sites- www.raaga.com, www.musicindiaonline.com. no player gets loaded and it tells me that ur browser doesnot have the required plugins. sometimes the errror message is: javascript disabled. i have gone thru all threads discussing java applets and javascript and issues with PIE. . has anyone found any way out of such issues,shud i try thunderhawk or netfront or is jeode the only solution, which is another 50 bucks i am a bit reluctant to spend.....i wud appreciate any feedback

i dont see any playlist or direct stream. both site uses a custom player with macromedia. it has nothing to do with java really.

so i need to download/install macromedia player? would it work then. can anyone pls tell me which player do i need to get.

no, at lease i dont think you do. the site is set up to stream media using macromedia mp3 streaming player.

alot of web site use the macromedia mp3 player because it dosent cache the file on your computer. i use it as well on my site.

if you can find a pocket pc internet browser that support macromedia then you can stream music from those site.

i went and tried it on my 6700 and it's not so much macromedia but look like an activex too. basicly it's looking for the media player.

thanks i3000, can u suggest any possible solution to fix this. one such site asks for windows media player, which 6700 has; but still nothing happens. i have no idea wat to try next....

im looking into it. i found some threads that talk about activex on PIE but you have to be a developer to know what they're talking about.
