Pocket Outlook to check Sprint PCS email
This is probably a silly question but....
I setup pocketpc outlook (on the PPC6700) to check e-mail from my included Sprint PCS account. I did this by creating a new e-mail account on the PPC 6700 called Sprint PCS. It works great, but I noticed that when I synched (Active Sync) to my laptop, none of the e-mails were being saved on Outlook on my laptop PC. So to resolve this, I "added" a new e-mail account under Outlook on my laptop PC and used the Sprint PCS e-mail pop3 settings. Then I clicked "Send/Receive" on Outlook (on my laptop) and all of my Sprint PCS e-mails were subsequently downloaded to my laptop PC. I then used ActiveSync to sync the PPC 6700 to my laptop and all those e-mails from Outlook on my laptop PC got loaded onto my PPC 6700, but under the "Outlook E-mail" account.
The problem is that the way I set up the PPC6700, it considers the Sprint PCS and Outlook e-mail accounts as two separate accounts. As a result, I now have two e-mail accounts on my PPC 6700 (Sprint PCS and Outlook) that each contain the same e-mails as one another. Is there a way for me to have my Sprint PCS e-mails stored on my laptop whenever I sync my PPC 6700, and to have it save under the Sprint PCS e-mail account on Microsoft Outlook (on my laptop).
The other thing I cannot figure out is that I created several e-mail folders on my PPC 6700 for my Sprint PCS e-mail account, but none of these folders appear on my Sprint PCS account when I log into my account from the web using a desktop computer. Is there no way to have common e-mail folders on both the PPC 6700 and the Sprint e-mail server? (This was a feature of T-mobile's e-mail system that was rather nice. i.e., creating an e-mail folder on your handheld would also generate the same folder on T-mobile's email server.)
Thanks for your help
