Call History Not Working

Never had a prob with my old PPC 6601 keeping my call history forever, but my new PPC-6700 is not retaining calls. Sometimes it is 5 days, 4 days, 6 days, etc. Of course, I have the setting "delete calls older than" set correctly. I tried "Never" and "1year"...but will not keep these records. I called Sprint and they said it could be corruption and wants me to factory reset it. But I have a friend that has the exact same problem. How can there be sfwr corruption with both? HELP!

Not a question anyone here can answer. If it's not working right, then it's not working right. Try a hard reset. Could have been the same doofy technician assembled both your phones and that's why they are both jacked up who knows.

couple of questions

1) You have changed the setting to have it keep them for longer than default, correct? (gotta ask)

2) Look around in the forums, there was a post a while back about unlimited call history not being unlimited call history....maxes out at 299 or so. If you making upwards of 50 - 70 calls in and out a day, you'd be hitting that limit...last I checked (a week or so ago) it hadn't been resolved.

Doesn't make sense...My old phone (PPC-6601) Call History went forever (Over a year). Thought they enhance devices as they go along, not go backwords. Ticks me off, because believe it or not, with all of the features packed in this device, the unlimited Call History is one of the important features I use.
