is there any way to disconnect from the network to increase battery life? i saw taht the duration/disconnect hack will not work in conjunction with the always-on hack...

of course, that would kind of defeat the purpose of having it 'always on'...but id rather have the option if i know im not goingto be using data for a while -- when i DO use it, its a pain for it to keep connecting and disconnecting itself..

a way to toggle the always on / always off would be very nice.

Does the wireless manager override the always on hack? Of course, turning off the phone and turning off the EVDO are different things.

Personally, I'd like a way to force the phone to _not_ use EVDO in some cases....so a way to set EVDO to:

Always On
Normal (always try)
Always Off (only use cellular if at all)
