launching IE and actually having the home page show???

Hi, I have been dealing with sprint for the past couple of days. The internet stopped working. I called then put in a new password for the evdo or whatever. However when I launch IE, I still get that really lame screen and it doesn't go to my homepage. Further when I go to the address bar and put in whatever it THEN pops up a screen for user and pass. I was told to hit ok and then it goes and connects and everything is just fine. Is there a way to have it work just like my 6600 did before i.e. connect to internet on it's own and start on the home page, and not the lame demo screen and not pop up a user deal only to have me not fill anything in and hit ok for it to launch.

Thanks it's really obnoxious.

Go to the page you wish to be the homepage, tools, options, use current. That will select that as home.

Go to PIE Menu > Tools > Options to set whatever you want as your home page. However, you will only get this page when you startup PIE from the Start menu. When you start PIE using the button on the side of the phone it ignores the custom home page and always goes to the default. (This is a bug)

I already had that set at yahoo and still it persists. It still shows the other screen that's why I was asking. I should have noted that though. Any other ideas?

You need to edit the path in the IE link in the Windows/AppButtons folder. Do a search as this has been discussed..
