Activesync hung...

My active sync is totally hung on my laptop. I get no connection details, but the AS icon is spinning in the tray and when I open the as console it just say "Connecting"

Killed the WCES process and restarted it
Soft reset the phone
Reinstalled ActiveSync 4.1 along with all the fund reboots....

Any ideas on what could be hanging up my Sync?

XP Firewall but it was working fine before and suddenly quit.

I have since uninstalled, killed the Program Files folder on the PC and to no avail.

This is more of an issue with the PC I think than the PPC.. it detects it fine... but the AS on the PC just hangs.

The PPC acts as if nothing is happening. Attempts to manually sync from the PPC causes the sync to start/stop immediately with no error, but with no change in last sync times.

syncing direct to exchange works fine from the ppc

Ok... I am an idiot...

For future reference for anyone that encounters this issue make sure you check the following.

ActiveSync > Menu > Connections...

Make sure the "When cradled" section is checked and that USB is in the drop down list.

I was messing with stuff the other night and forgot I did that.
