Connecting to EVDO and Pushing email with Business Connection

I have two problems. 1) I live in the Chicago area and EVDO is available here. I just upgraded from a PPC-6601 to the 6700 and I'm on a grandfathered vision plan at a pretty low rate. I'd like to try the EVDO but I have no idea how to access it or if its something that I need to have sprint add to my service.

2) I've set my phone to push emails on the pcs business connection and for some reason I have to manually retrieve the email i.e. they're not being pushed.

Any help on these points.

Thanks for all of the help I've gotten on this great forum.

If you search of these topics you will find the answers, but in the meantime PCS BC is not made for the 6700 yet. It does work (sort of) but is not the final realease for this phone.

Hello and welcome to pdaphonehome.com, I see you are new here. In general, it is a good idea to do a search before starting a new thread as often times, your question will have already been extensively discussed (especially newbie questions). By doing a search first, you not only get your answer quicker, but you help to keep redundant threads to a minimum.

However, since you are new here, I will do the search for you this one time. By searching for "Business Connection," I have located the following thread for you.

http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...ess+connection

A search for "Sprint Power Vision" yielded the following thread (note that you do not need to do anything to your plan to get EVDO).

http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/s...t+power+vision

Please review these threads FIRST and then if you still have questions, place them in the appropriate thread. Since this is a redundant thread, I am going to go ahead and close it. I hope you find this information useful, please always remember to search before starting a new thread and once again, welcome to pdaphonehome.com.
