Internet radio error
The first time I launched a shout cast link on the 6700 TCPMP played it just fine. I decided to get rid of junk-ware so I hard reset and installed the recommended 7 cabs from the extended ROM but then I got an "audio/x-scpls not supported" error when trying to stream shoutcast.
I have:
1) Hard reset installing all junk-ware
2) Set TCPMP as default and confirmed it took.
3) Tried other players.
4) Hard reset again.
5) Made sure tcpmp.arm_ce3.cab was the correct cab.
Resco radio plays shoutcast pls but of course it launches from with-in so the problem must be the PPC cant find TCPMP to support the format but I have checked and under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:WMPLAYER and string 1 says "\Program Files\TCPMP\player.exe" and this is where TCPMP is placed.
Also I set the default only after I recieved the error. And the error was not resolved with a hard reset,
Are registry changes set back original after doing a hard reset?
