Safe Mode?

While trying out many different applications, etc., I had a problem where one program was set to load up on startup and then it would lock up. Every time I reset it would try to load again. On the desktop you can use Safe Mode to get by this type of problem. Is there something like this for the PPC? I remember SPB Plus had something like this when I tried it out but is there anything that comes standard or a small program out there that does this? I was able to resolve my problem but for a while I thought I might have to do a hard reset.

I used to use this freeware called SafeMode by monocube when I have my Imate JAM. I'm not sure if it's Wm5 compatible though.

Did a quick search and came up with this quote from the developer-"I am working on a WM5 version. However at this point, it would require a ROM version that doesn't require digital certificates (signed apps)."
