I would try copying and pasting the CLSID entry to all of the file types, just in case. You can always delete the entry later if need be.

One other thing to try is to clear your PIE cache and/or history and see if that makes any difference.

for those interested net 3.3 was able to get some web pages that need login with password and user to open where all other attempts failed.. regedit..tweaks ect.

i noticed though that it now wont let me use IE

sorry I did not followup but I had tried reinstalling a copy of the registry and something got goofed up. I did a hard reset and reapplied the image/jpeg CLSID entry. Works fine now.

Thanks, olywogle, for figuring out how to fix the crappy image problem in PIE. I've created a CAB file to automate the registry changes you described. Attached is a zip file with the CAB and the source files I used to create the CAB.

To implement this hack, you need only to copy the CAB file to your device and run it. No registry editing is required.

Thanks for the tip.

NetFront is THE reason I'm dumping my Treo for the 6700, and now I can get rid of those awful images. (Well, ok, not the only reason, but if not for NetFront, I might still put up with Xiino-the other PPC browsers are all lacking IMO).
