This is a question from a relative newbie. I'm used to SIM cards storing my phone's assigned number, but obviously the ppc67600 doesn't use these. I'm interested in doing the hard reset/remove junkware procedure, but I'm unclear as to whether this will require me to go through Sprint to have my phone's number restored. The phone shipped with the wrong phone number, and I had to manually enter my old ported number while on the phone with customer service. Anybody know if this number is maintained after hard reset?

The hard reset wont effect anything with sprint's programming on the phone.
