I can do this with my bluespoon AX headset too. I use it to stream talk radio (mono, one ear). Don't get too excited though, the bluetooth profile is missing (A2DP) for the Stereo headset on the 6700, however rumor has it it will be available soon via an update.

I also have the 6700 and 850. I never use the Bluetooth because it has a lot of echo and people complain a lot about how bad it sounds.

Does yours work ok?

Hey I have the HBH662 - ignore my post above. I assumed it couldn't do it, but then I found out all I had to do was push the button once the stream was engaged. (I guess this means skype would work ok then!)

I have an "unbranded" HS850 that echos too. Apparently the size of the unit allows the mic to pick up the audio from the speaker. If only there was a way to isolate the mic or the speaker, because other than the echo problem, I really like this headset.

I'm now using a jabra bt110, which isn't great but no echo.

Just tried it with my HS-820 (Moto) and it works, just push the button and all sounds go through the earpiece rather than the speaker. (Guess it's a benifit of not having A2DP) I sure hope when they do update the stack this won't be fixed.

Jabra BT800

I'm using the Jabra BT800 and yes, everything comes thru the headset, voice commands, music, rings, vibration (incoming calls).

The earpiece volume is high enough for most conditions and people I speak with say my conversation is pretty good but not perfect.

I will have to have my better half call me using it so I can hear how it sounds form the other end.

Setup was a breeze for me, although I read where others have had problems.

You can use it in either ear.

I am very pleased with the Jabra BT800.

Lizard, how's the connection speed with the 6700 and the BT800? A few of us noticed a horrific lag time (solid 6-7 seconds) when auditioning the headset with the 6600.

too bad none of the bt headsets will read the name of the caller through the headset.
