Any free Today screen customizers ?

I want to change what is displayed on my today screen and the options the phone came with are not enough.

Thanks,

Microsoft Theme Generator

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...generator.mspx

Very easy to use. I've had issues tho having it load the theme to the device upon completion. Just save the theme to your desktop and manually transfer it.

That theme generator is for Windows Mobile 2002... So everything is not going to work the way it should on 2005 <6700>

fonts and themese and the display

I took my first look at the ppc 6700 and must say I was very dissapointed in the screem. I found it extremely hard to read. I have poor vision and although I saw an adjustment to the font size it did not seem to do anything. Is it possible to make the fonts bigger and to change the color scheme? I definatly do not like that blue at all it is really hard to see.
an thoughts from people on if this is going to be a deal breaker for me?

You can make themes yourself with Microsoft Theme Generator (free download) or you can find themes to download from one of the following sites:

how do you change the font color to black, if I am using the default theme? do I have to get a different theme in order to have black font?

Found the answer.
http://pdaphonehome.com/forums/showt...enu+font+color

And for those that don't know, the font colors are "included" in whatever theme you apply. You can then go in and edit the colors, using a registry editor. Just make sure you know the default values so you can always go back if you mess up.

Ahhhh, black font on a lighter background is so much easier on the eyes than the default theme and white font! I use Pocket Breeze 5, so there's a lot of text on my today screen.

My suggestion...
1) go to http://www.pocketpcthemes.com or
http://www.pocketthemes.com
and download a lighter-colored background that comes with black font.
2) Then change the start menu font to black by going to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Color > adding a binary value named '39' to this key > and setting the value to 00 00 00 00.
3) I also changed my today screen horizontal bars to white by editing key '6' to FF FF FF 00.

Much better.

Hope this helps someone else who doesn't like reading white text.
