i have been tethering my 6700 successfully for quite a while, but i have run into a strange issue which has been locking up the phone and requiring a soft reset to continue.

it happens when i am running a cisco vpn client and am trying to load an .aspx page in the browser. often it will work for about 5-10 seconds and then suddenly the 6700 freezes and obviously there is no more data throughput.

the phone has never locked up once aside from that situation -- normal tethered browsing is just fine (i am typing this message right now while tethered)

anyone know what might be causing this lockup?

still looking for any help or ideas on this problem. there shouldn't be any difference in what resources are being accessed on the 6700 no matter what is in the packets being routed through, right?
