Outgoing sms help please

My outgoing sms messages are not being saved in the outbox folder I looked for a setting to change but I can't find it.

I also searched the forum with no luck

Can someone help please ?

the outgoing sms messages are stored in the sent items thread, not outgoing

It's also a good idea to create a "Saved Messages" folder within the SMS app for messages you do not want deleted. Because if you go to empty out the folders you can only empty the INBOX and SENT texts boxs together... unless you delete each message individually.
