I went into the today page calendar options and set it to display "upcoming appointments" and checked the box that said "display all day events".
However, it seems that my today page only shows 1 days worth of appointments at a time and it does not show all day events at all. I was under the impression that by displaying upcoming appointments instead of "next appointment" that my today page would show all appointments for about a week's timeframe instead of 1 day. Is that not the case? And does anyone know why it's not showing all day appointments?
Just wondering if anyone has this same issue...Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.
PS - At the bottom of the today page options is a "Today timeout" where you can set different intervals. Can someone tell me what this is and what it does?
No one has any experience with this? I really don't understand why it won't display all day events even after checking the box. Even tried resetting to see if that would change things...
I do not have my 6700 connected to my work PC, so it only has personal appointments scheduled, and they are few and far between...for instance there is a birthday coming up in a few days. Is there any way to have this item displayed on my today screen or is is literally "today" only, no exceptions? I have already set it to display all day events, and the next upcoming appointment.
The default calendar plugin is very limited. There are third party software that will take care of your needs. Some good ones are Pocketbreeze and SPB Diary. If you like the looks of the default calendar plugin, you can try this freeware call calendar+. I haven't used that since my first pocketpc but it lets you see more than 1 appt and all day events also. You should be able to google that.
Calendar + is the program that you want to use. It allows you to show your appointments out 31 days. You can also choose to show: All day events, days without events and completed events. You can even change the layout with different font sizes and arrangements.
I think the today screen timeout setting allows you set the time frame before the today screen is shown.
ie if you have it set to 1 hour, and you leave your PPC open to calculator, one hour later it will automatically go to the today screen.
I could be wrong But ill test that theory.
