I'd like to get a spare for emergency purposes (can't be without one for even a day) but certainly don't want to pay the full price listed since so many people were reporting deals on the phone originally.

Since I already have one it won't be fore a new plan or anything else, basically I'd like the phone - no line or additional items.

I have a business acount so I can order one without issues.

Wow a spare 6700 seems kind of extragavant. I have a LG 325 that I can use as a spare, knowing that even if the 6700 dies, it will probably only be a week before a replacement arrives.

I don't think that you can even buy it from sprint without activating it.

Actually - they sold me one and I sold it to someone in dire need of a replacement. Before I order my next replacement I thought I'd see if there were any deals.

I have a few clients with them so it would be a good idea for me to have a spare just in case anyone of us needs one.

I think that ebay guy is the only one out there who is discounting it. He can add a line to a current account.

The only "deals" reported on the 6700 to date have involved signing up for a new line of service with ebay guy which gets you the phone for $349, or signing up for a new line directly with Sprint or qualifying for the phone upgrade rebate which gets you the phone for $479. That's it. If you're unwilling or unable to go these routes you will pay $629 unless you find a retailer discounting the phone, which is unlikely right now since it literally is just hitting the stores today.

I did and they let me upgrade for free to the 6700 from my 6600.
Im a business customer with 3 lines and have been with them for 10 months
Kinda nice of them.
