Question What is the cheapest plan to use EVDO?

I currently have the fair and flex $35 plan. I am waiting to get my 6700. In order to use the EVDO or 1xRTT, to access the web only (no tethering), any suggestions what may be cheapest option?

With the new Vision packs, the $15 gives you access to the web. You can't get Sprint TV on the 6700 so the higher packs are useless and a waste of $. If you have an existing vision plan, just do an ESN swap and you can keep all of your grandfathered options and still use EVDO at no extra charge.

Thanks for the response. What about the $10 plan? Would that work just for using the web and email? I do not need to use the picture/video email.

If you have the $10 plan, it should work fine for email and web

After my phone activation I called and added the $10 vision plan. An hour later the Sprint rep called and apologized and indicated that after discussing this option with her supervisor, the $10 vision plan is not offered for this phone since it has EVDO built-in. If I want to keep the vision plan, it would have to be the $15 EVDO vision plan. I asked her to verify if EVDO is available in my area. She indicated that currently it is not available but in future it is expected to be available. Regardless of the availability, I would still have to pay the 410 vision plan.

EVDO is free on my plan. I've got the $100/mo with a free second line, 2000 shared minutes, unlimited night/weekends and unlimited PCS to PCS.

Sorry there was a typo in my last post. I am now forced to pay $15 EVDO Vision plan even though there is no EVDO in my area.

There is no $10 plan anymore if you have an EV-DO phone. If you had a $10 plan on your account before the release of the 6700 and swap to the 6700 you can keep it, otherwise you've got to pay $5 more (which, quite frankly, is still a bargain when compared to Verizon).

10 dollar plan ...

I just got a 10 dollar plan with 100 free SMS messages ... it isn't offered anymore... just use the inconsistencies in the Sprint systems to prove your point to the Reps and eventually they will honor the new plan...
