SEVEN Personal Edition vs. SEVEN Always-On Mail

Anyone have any information about SEVEN Always-On Mail? How is it different from SEVEN Personal Edition (which I believe will function in the same manner as the upcoming Sprint PCS Business Connection Personal Edition for PPC 6700)? Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

I wasn't aware these were two separate things. Do you have a link to the "Always-On Mail"? From your post, I would think "always-on" is a feature of Seven Personal Edition.

I have a suspiscion that this is built into the Seven Personal Edition software. SPE gives you the ability to setup POP/IMAP accounts for push, which is exactly how the AOE software is described in that link you provided.

Just a bit of clarification. SEVEN runs an independent Beta and they have a 6700 client specifically. If you have the 6700 Sprint production device and are not in their Beta you'll see a Get BC (which stands for Business Connection - The Sprint product that SEVEN supplies to them) on the Home screen which will take you to link that says "Coming Soon". Putting two and two together it is safe to say that a 6700 client for Sprint's BCPE will be available sometime soon. Sprint just updated the BCPE software this weekend so maybe it is getting closer. The BCPE PPC 2003 client will sort of work on the 6700 hundred but was not certified for it nor supported since we're talking WM5 now.

SEVEN did acquire Smartner a while back and that is where the AlwaysOn product line comes from.

Thank you for the clarification MobileGhost. I'm actually using the Beta of the Personal Edition right now, which I'm assuming will be similar to the Sprint BCPE when it is released. However, what is the Always-On Mail Service/Application offered by SEVEN, and how does this differ from SEVEN Personal Edition/Sprint BCPE

I'm sure it will be similar when it is released but will have the Sprint branding. I can't say much about Always-on but they have a similar line of products, not a re-director though and they have products that work on a number of Nokia products and the Push seems to be lightning fast from what I have heard users on that platform tell me. There is some overlap with the SEVEN software from what I can tell but I don't know enough details to discuss intelligently.
