Notification Error

I get a notification error each time I power on the screen:

"Cannot execute \Storage Card\Program Files\iMusic\iMusic.exe

iMusic has an option to resume playback (or something) on power up so it wants to reconnect to the storage card. I've uninstalled it, installed MemMaid and SKTools to clean notifications, bad uninstalls, registry entries, etc with no luck in finding what's calling on it. I stopped short of deleting .dll's. Nothing in the StartUp folder, a search on iMusic in the the registry (or 'Cardinal', the makers of iMusic) finds nothing.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I'm having a similar issue.

After trying to load Picsel Browser (copied from a friends i730) I deleted all the files i copied onto my device and now everytime I power on the screen i get two notification errors:

Notification Error

Cannot execute \Windows\PicselBrowser.exe

Notification Error

Cannot execute \My Documents\PicselBrowser.exe

I think this is probably more related overall to a larger issue of the fact that I see several posts on this board (and with my phone as well) where any programs that need to access the executable on an mini SD card generates this type of error.

I've attempted to move my IE cache to the card and - while it works - it's problematic in that IE will suddenly start crashing after certain periods of time.

I have another program (NewsBreak) that I installed to the card - and I get the error you're seeing. However, if I install the program to the ROM, and set the program to write it's data to the SD card - it runs "better" - in that it doesn't generate the notification errors - however it still has a problem sometimes in reading it's datastore on the card. I also see random posts on this and other boards with the same type of errors - either with the same programs or other software.

What does all of this mean? I think the phone has an issue maintaining it's connectivity with the SD card - either software or hardware (hopefully the former). Ideally - if it *is* software related - Sprint/UStar will correct this in the next ROM release. Considering that this phone is still technically in a "beta" release - I wouldn't be surprised that a ROM update is in the works and will be available shortly.
