It sounds ridicioulous but is it possible to hear your mp3's through your bluetooth headset?

If anyone finds a way or knows anything, let me know.

I do it every once in a while when im waiting for a call..........

It works fine. When a call comes in the music stops. When the call hangs up the music starts again.

Since we do not have the A2DP profile, the sound is only going to be pushed through the headset profile. I saw over in the i730 forum that they had installed the widcomm stack and disabled the MS stack giving them alot more profile to work with.

I will pick up the first decent stereo bluetooth heatset that is on the smaller side.... then will get the A2DP profile working somehow or another.

I like the Itek S35 (http://www.itechdynamic.com/html/products.htm#) that way you can use your own earphones. I am tempted to start playing with a combination of the i730 hack to turn off the MS stack and install the widcomm stacks found xda developers. I am with you though, I do not have a stereo headset to play with as of yet.

Ha? I don't get it..

OK - am I the only one that doesn't see the point of sometime like the headset adapter below??

it requires wires anyways.. how much worst is having it plug directly into the phone?

The reason I like it is because I have some expensive ear buds that I love (and are extremely comfortable) and could continue to use with my new phone for podcasts and mp3s as well as for phone calls. If I wanted the same quality of wired technology with the addition of a microphone, I would have to get something like the Shure I series (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...=UTF8&v=glance).

So why not use an ear piece adapter?
http://www.pocketpctechs.com/main~un...ccessories.htm

smaller, less expensive, and doesn't need recharging?

That is funny, that is exactly what I am doing right now. Only difference would truly be not having to carry the phone around with me while doing whatever..
