I'm currently using a Treo 650 and have extremely limited options for viewing PDFs, which is a bummer. Are there WM5 compatible PDF viewers that offer a scaled down viewing (ie; you don't have to scroll the screen back and forth from side to side) so you can simply scroll up and down through it without converting to some other format first? I couldn't find anything in the PPC6700 forum, but thought I'd as here because this is the WM5 mobile device I'm considering. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
Thanks for the great replies! To confirm, Clearvue allows you to see the pdf and only scroll up/down to see text... no side to side (ie; it formats the viewing for the QVGA device screen)? Can anyone offer insight into what this app does that the Adobe Acrobat also mentioned can't do? I can't find screenshots at their website, so I'm still curious...
Good ?--more info much appreciated here. I sometimes feel like my 6700 is a ticking time bomb and I'm afraid installing anything not confirmed to be safe would be like pulling the pin.

I think this might have been mentioned in another thread, but after having troubles with Acrobat 2.0 for PocketPC (it was really slow and didn't seem to work with File Exporer and the file associations) I backed off to Version 1.0 which is still on the Adobe website for PocketPC 2002 users. It seems to be faster and works fine as a standalone app and through file associations. I even installed it on my storage card and it works OK from there, and no conflicts with WM5 that I've noticed.
It sounds like clear vue works well with windows products, but will any software allow me to enlarge the internet images.
Will clearvue allow enlargement of text in outlook ??
Just got the phone and am relatively speaking a novice. Notice that I cannot view any PDF files attached. Not sure how to get Adobe Reader 7.0 on my PPC. I do have a 1 gb mini installed. Can anyone help?
Also viewing the screen in bright sunlight is nearly impossible but i am told by tech support that the screen imagery cannot be changed to a simple white background with black letters or anything for that matter. Ideas?
If you read a lot of PDFs I would suggest in Investing in Repligo. The desktop version converts the PDF to an RGO file which is viewable by the Repligo Viewer on the PC. THe files are smaller and th viewer itself runs a whole smoother then Adobe Reader for PPC.

Hello and welcome to pdaphonehome.com, I see you are new here. In general, it is a good idea to do a search before starting a new thread as often times, your question will have already been extensively discussed (especially newbie questions). By doing a search first, you not only get your answer quicker, but you help to keep redundant threads to a minimum.
However, since you are new here, I will do the search for you this one time. By searching for "pdf," I have located this current thread and merged it with the one you created. Please review this thread FIRST and then if you have further questions, post the applicable ones in this thread.
I hope you find this information useful, please always remeber to search first before posting, and once again, welcome to pdaphonehome.com.

Jeff got clearvue on my 6700 thanks for the help. How do you watch TV on your 6700 isd there some software? I will start searching around but would appreciate a link if you have one.
To watch TV, you select WIndows Media and once you see the set up that loks simialr to any music format with play/pause buttons, volume control, etc., yoiu selest the small circle in the bottom left that lloks like a tiny world. That should take you into Smartvideo from which you can see some trial TV. you will then be prompted to select a service for varying rates that will enable you to subscribe to the type of TV that you may want.
