Sprint Email From Desktop

Am I supposed to be able to send email through my Sprint email account from the desktop Outlook? If so, what settings are you using? I can receive on the desktop now but can't send.

sometimes you'll get a "relaying" error when sending.
the settings are the same as for the phone:
pop.sprintpcs.com
smtp.sprintpcs.com

You can always use the webmail client"

Yes you can. smtp.sprint.com. I cannot remember wha tthe other settings are but I think allow outgoing authentication is the only thing that needs to be enabled.

If you are planning on getting hitched with your @sprintpcs.com address keep in mind that these boxes have a 2mb limit. Kind of a joke.

No he is not. These servers are to be used with outlook or "messaging"

Sprint has servers set up so you can access your myname@sprintpcs.com email.

Incoming mail server= pop.sprintpcs.com
outgoing mail server=smtp.sprintpcs.com

outlook will auto configure when it sees your @sprintpcs.com email address. Jut enter your username opassword and above server info and you will be set.

This will use vision (evdo ot 1xrtt), wifi, or activesync to connect.
