MP3 --> Ringer

I found a program "Ringtone4me.com" that allows me to cut a section from an MP3 to use as a ringer. I am using the entire MP3 for the ringer but the lead-in is fairly long. I want to be able to cut a part of the MP3 and save as a ringtone for my PPC-6700. The Ringtone4me is $30 and is way more advanced for what I really need. I was wonderinf if anybody knew of another solution.

Applian Software has a program called MP3Magic that can slice up MP3's. I think they still bundle it with a program called Replay Radio, which is a fantastic way to reduce radio shows to MP3 files for later listening, like "Tivo" for radio. They have a trial version you can check out.

www.goldwave.com

This program allows you to cut, adjust pitch, and many more to mp3's. Don't let the name mislead you.
