Question regarding lockline/insurance

Hey how is everyone..... I have a 6600 now and i'm definitely going to make the move to the 6700 but i need a little information first before i make the switch. I'm very careless with phones and on top of that i have very bad luck with phones defecting on me. I've had a treo 650 and already 3 different ppc 6600's. So my question is if i get the 6700 within the next few days does anyone have if something were to happen to my phone would insurance have access to the phone. I would hate to order one, it break, then be sent a 6600. any info would be appreciated

Re: Question regarding lockline/insurance

Insurance cos for these units are notoriously slow and uncaring about how compatible their 'like kind replacement' suits you. Search the 6600 forums for more background info. What was the response to this question by Lockline?

Thanks for the responses what's funny is that I didn't even this to ask lockline this question. Automatically assumed they wouldn't be able to provide an adequate answer as far as what they have in stock. Actually didn't know that had access to what they have in stock. I will definitely give them a call and see what's up so i know for sure. Situation happened with my PPC and they sent me a treo which i had to go through a whole ordeal to get a 6600. And i know many people who werent as lucky as me. Thanks for the info guys

It may also be worth your while to check your home owners policy, depending on your use of the phone, it may be covered either as-is or with a simple rider. Just an fyi.
