I've been taking a more systematic approach to solving some of my phone's "Quirks" and have discovered that when I have Pocket Hack Master running my WiFi connection won't stay connected. Usually it just tries to connect and fails. If I turn of Hack Master and do a soft reset then WiFi will work normally.

Checkpoint Secureclient VPN for Pocket PC 2003 does not work

Landware Pocket Quicken loads, but does not sync. (probably an Activesync 4.0 issue)
Laridian PocketBible loads, but will not display a full chapter unless you navigate to the last verse of the chapter.

Just to add to this thread for clarification. Landware just put out a new version of pocket quicken that seems to work out really well. Full active sync without errors for about a week now. I could never seem to get all the account totals to be correct in SPB Finance. If it matters, I am using AS4.1

money 2006 does not sync though you can use the individual program on the 6700 and the individual program on the home computer, there is no communication thru activesync

GigearApps batMem time has to many problems with displaying when you change to landscape, it just totaly disapears when going back.

Sprite backup 3.14 has not been able to do a backup.

SBSH ContactBreeze is not seeing any of the contacts.

Ministumbler, pocket version of Netstumbler, RUNS but apparently the wireless card isn't supported. Because it's not seeing any networks.

How did you hard reset your device? When I tried it with the reset button and power button everything was still there. There was no difference from a soft reset. Is there an actual hard reset?

I found out the same thing about Memmaid and had to hardreset to.

to hard reset you need to press the two outside buttons next to the start button and the ok button and than press the softreset button to. than it will ask if you want to do a hard reset Y for Yes N for No.

pocket player does not work for me.

Laridian has updated PocketBible, and it works well.

Note: you are welcome to send me a private message and i'll update the above list at least for a month. I would hope in a month most of the above will work on WM5. Seem most of the issues are WM5 issues. Fortunatly having one of the first wm5 device will mean they will test their programs on the PPC6700.

Never mind.

Had problems with the ereader install. It displayed a message, something about "Unable to find file", but then it seemed to successfully finish the install. I installed an ebook, apparently succesfully. But then the screen blanked out (actually dimmed out) and couldn't get it back, even with soft reset. Removed ereader and everything seems ok now.

I recommend NOT installing Skype 1.2 beta until they get a solution to the problem where, upon uninstall you get continuous warnings which appear unremovable...

Searched "6700 epocrates" to find an answer to the epocrates problem and found this great forum.

Could anyone elaborate on the fix for this. If you are merely talking about clicking on the autoupdate file from my desktops hard drive........I tried that with no success.

So far so good with other programs.

Egress Rss Reader appears to have been causing my 6700 to not "wake up". I've removed it and had no problems since....I was using the latest version.
